Spare a prayer...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Edmar Alves Araujo, who died while in the custody of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Today I had the privilege of meeting with several Brazilians who are in ICE custody here in Massachusetts, discussing their immigration cases, and hearing them talk of girlfriends, wives and children... I only wish ICE agents could see them as husbands, brothers, sons and fathers and think of their own loved ones so this tragedy is not repeated.
